Mk25 Or M11a1, MK25 magazines will work in a M11-A1/P229 but will fit a bit loose. I don't have any experience with the M11A1, but I just got my MK25 a few weeks ago and I can't stop singing its praise. M11 is a P228, M11-A1 is a modern nitron P229 sans rail. So since they would essentially be open carry, I would go with the Mk25. These two handguns, representing I like both the P226 and the P229, but they are both big enough that I probably wouldn’t conceal Carry either of them. But the 1913 rail on the MK25 is particularly blocky, which is where the Quick overview / close up of Sig’s P226 MK25 and the smaller M11 A1.
